3-Channel Relay HAT for Raspberry Pi

This 3-channel relay expansion board measures 65 mm × 56.5 mm × 18 mm and weighs approximately 35 g. It features a standard 40-pin GPIO header compatible with Raspberry Pi 4B, 3B+, 3B, and 2B+. Each channel uses high-quality relays rated for 5A at 250V AC or 5A at 30V DC. The board is constructed with photo-coupler isolation for electrical separation between control and load circuits. Jumpers allow flexible configuration of trigger logic (active-high or active-low) per channel. The relay board enables precise, low-voltage GPIO-controlled switching of mains-powered or high-current DC devices. Each relay operates independently, supporting simultaneous or sequential control via Python, Node-RED, or other Pi-native automation tools. Built-in LED indicators show real-time relay status for quick debugging and monitoring. Ideal for UK-based makers and engineers, it supports common home automation use cases — such as scheduling lights, remotely toggling plug sockets, or managing HVAC fans — while meeting basic safety expectations for low-energy DIY installations. Also suitable for light industrial prototyping where isolated 5A switching is required.
