2P PV Surge Protector 40KA DC

A dedicated 2-pole DC surge protection device for photovoltaic applications, built for integration into 1000V DC solar power systems. Unit dimensions conform to EN 60715 rail-mount standards; weight per piece is ~350g. Housing material is certified PC flame-retardant plastic (UL94 V-0), providing mechanical strength and thermal stability. Electrical performance includes 40kA max discharge current (8/20μs), 20kA nominal discharge current, and ≤3.5kV voltage protection level. Status indication is provided via a clear visual window showing green (normal operation) or red (activated/faulted). Intended for use upstream of inverters, in DC combiner boxes, or alongside PV array isolators — must be installed by a Part P-certified electrician following BS 7671 Section 443 and manufacturer torque specifications.
