2mm Stretchy Elastic Cord 45 Yards

A continuous 45-yard (41.1 m), 2mm white elastic cord composed of elastic fibres and natural rubber. It exhibits controlled elongation (~70–85% stretch range) and strong rebound characteristics—minimising slack or permanent set. The cord weighs approximately 18 g per 10 metres and maintains pliability across UK room temperatures (10–25°C). Its surface is smooth and slightly textured—not slippery like silicone, nor fuzzy like braided nylon—enabling clean knot formation and stable threading. No coatings or additives are used; the material is inherently resistant to mild UV exposure and everyday abrasion. Used widely in UK-based craft communities for stretch-bead jewellery, handmade face coverings, children’s toy repairs (doll limbs, plush ties), soft furnishing adjustments (curtain tie-backs, cushion fasteners), and practical household fixes including shoelace and hat cord replacements.
