24-Bit I2S DAC Breakout With Headphone Speaker Out

This breakout board features the TLV320DAC3100 audio codec, delivering 24-bit stereo playback with a signal-to-noise ratio of 95dB and support for sample rates from 8kHz to 192kHz. It provides dual output capability: a Class-D speaker amplifier (2.5W into 4Ω / 1.6W into 8Ω) and headphone output optimised for 6Ω loads. The board includes dedicated MIC and BIAS pins for headset detection — configurable to supply 2V bias for plug-in and button-press sensing. Two analog inputs (AIN1, AIN2) allow external audio mixing, and one GPIO pin can serve as an interrupt request line. Digital audio interfaces supported include I2S, Left-Justified, Right-Justified, DSP and TDM modes; control is handled via I2C (with register auto-increment) — no MCLK required, as BCLK can be used as PLL input. Onboard audio processing includes 25 programmable blocks (PRB_P1–PRB_P25) for biquad filtering, FIR, DRC, 3D effects and sine-wave generation. Powered by 3V–5V DC, it operates at 3.3V logic level only, with 10kΩ pull-up resistors on SCL and SDA. PCB construction in black finish.
