20A Triple-Stage EMI Filter

A high-performance EMI filtering board for professional and audiophile-grade power conditioning, compatible with single-phase AC inputs from 110V to 250V and rated for continuous 20A load current. The PCB-based design implements three distinct filtering stages: first, differential-mode filtering using matched inductors targeting mid-to-high-frequency interference; second and third, cascaded common-mode stages using X2-rated capacitors and toroidal common-mode chokes. Input interface is a 3-pin 7.62mm pitch socket (Live, Neutral, Earth), while output is a 2-pin 7.62mm socket (Live, Neutral). The Earth connection supports both mains grounding and chassis bonding. When integrated into amplifier or decoder power paths, it actively removes transformer hum, rectifier hash, and switching noise—leading to measurable improvements in dynamic range and low-level detail retrieval.
