The internal grinding system features dual ceramic burrs — one per chamber — engineered for uniform particle distribution and minimal friction heat. Salt chamber uses a slightly wider burr gap calibrated for crystalline integrity; pepper chamber uses tighter tolerances for volatile oil retention. Both grinders share a unified adjustment collar accessible from the top, allowing synchronized setting changes without opening the unit.
