1600W Sensorless BLDC Motor Driver

This high-power BLDC motor controller supports 6–80V DC input and handles up to 1600W output with 20A rated / 50A peak current. Built around the SNR8503M dedicated driver IC, it enables robust sensorless commutation—no Hall sensors needed—and features a minimalist, PCB-only form factor with no casing. Onboard resources include PWM speed input (1–20 kHz, 10–100% duty), 0.5–5V analog potentiometer interface, UART serial port for configuration and command, FG tachometer output, CW/CCW direction selection, firmware update header, and multi-state LED indicators. Thermal design is application-aware: natural convection is sufficient under ≤5A load; active cooling (fan/heatsink) is mandatory above 5A. Integrated safeguards include reverse-voltage, overcurrent, and stall protection. Common use cases include air/water pumps, refrigeration compressors, electric screwdrivers, automatic door operators, lawn mowers, sprayers, and submersible thrusters.
