Contains 16 matched foam-and-carbon filter units. Foam: open-cell polyurethane, 8.5 cm Ø × 2.5 cm H, 25 kg/m³ density. Carbon: coconut-shell-derived granular activated carbon (iodine number ≥1000), 45 g per unit, sealed in permeable non-woven sleeve. Total assembled height: ~3.0 cm. The foam performs primary mechanical screening — catching hair, dander and sediment before they recirculate or settle on pump components. Carbon provides secondary chemical treatment — reducing chlorine derivatives, metallic ions and organic volatiles that affect water freshness and encourage bacterial adhesion on wet surfaces. Validated for use in Drinkwell Inox 360, Avalon, Lotus and Pagoda fountains — including exact fit for JV SZRH A-F housing. Replacement frequency depends on observed performance: inspect weekly for discolouration or compaction; replace fully when flow decreases noticeably or carbon sleeve shows visible grain shedding.
