14-Bit Magnetic Rotary Sensor

This AS5048A-based module is a high-precision 14-bit (16,384-step) absolute rotary position sensor using non-contact magnetic sensing technology. It measures full 360° rotation with a resolution of 0.0219°, enabled by its integrated analog front-end and digital SPI interface. The PCB-mounted sensor operates across -40°C to +150°C, tolerating mechanical misalignment including center deviation and air gap variation between sensor and magnet. It supports SPI and I²C communication protocols and provides both digital angle output and PWM signal output. Zero position is programmable via simple SPI or I²C command during assembly — no special programming tools or precise magnet alignment required. Designed for pan-tilt mechanisms, encoder motor feedback, and shaft-angle applications where robustness and calibration flexibility are critical.
