This portable propane torch achieves a maximum flame temperature of 1300°C, enabling controlled heating, brazing, and flame welding of thin-to-medium gauge copper, aluminum, iron, and stainless steel. Constructed with a rubber grip and copper nozzle, it prioritises operator comfort and heat resilience. It operates exclusively with universal copper-aluminum flux-cored welding wire — tin-based variants are incompatible and must be avoided. The torch is unsuitable for cast iron or heavy-section castings due to insufficient penetration capability. Common applications include copper plumbing joint repair, aluminium sheet joining, fabric edge sealing, gourmet dessert finishing, and routine DIY maintenance. Effective use requires joint cleaning, precise base metal pre-heating to 350–400°C, and careful filler wire application before the metal reaches incandescence.
