12V Electric Brake Booster Pump Switch Kit for Vacuum Pump Systems

PERFECT FIT - 28146 vacuum pump switch designed for electric brake vacuum pump. Compatible with AC Delco (Hella) vacuum pump and 1979 Corvette applications. Working vacuum range: activates when vacuum drops below 0.04 MPa and deactivates at approximately 0.06 MPa. This switch automatically controls the pump operation based on preset vacuum levels. Function: maintains proper vacuum pressure, enables automatic on/off control, and helps preserve pump longevity. Typically used with a pilot relay between the switch contacts and the vacuum pump motor. Pre-set pressure switch: adjustment screw is secured to prevent loosening during transit; this setting is fixed and not user adjustable. Ensures reliable pump activation and deactivation at specified vacuum levels. Installation tip: ensure all connections are securely tightened to prevent vacuum leaks and ensure proper operation. Designed for straightforward installation and consistent performance.
