1.25" Black Optical Solar Filter

This 1.25-inch (31.7 mm) black solar filter features M30x1 coarse threading, a round form factor, and is fabricated from aluminium alloy for strength and lightness (9 g). It incorporates optical glass engineered to attenuate solar radiation safely during sunrise and sunset observation. Not suitable for use when the sun is high in the sky. Always attach securely to the telescope’s front objective before pointing — never observe the sun directly through any optical instrument without certified filtration. The black surface reduces glare and enhances visual comfort during prolonged low-light solar viewing sessions typical in northern European latitudes.
