0.5X and 0.7X Microscope Barlow Lens Kit

This 2-piece kit contains one 0.5X and one 0.7X auxiliary teleconverter Barlow lens, both constructed from impact-resistant ABS plastic. Each lens features standard male/female threading suitable for direct attachment to trinocular microscope C-mount or threaded eyepiece tubes. Typical outer diameter is 32 mm; height is approx. 21 mm; combined weight is ~42 g. The 0.5X variant extends working distance by ~100% compared to native microscope configuration, enabling greater hand-tool clearance during fine-pitch soldering. The 0.7X variant expands horizontal field of view by ~43% while extending working distance by ~40%, offering improved spatial awareness for component identification and alignment. Designed for sustained use in benchtop electronics repair environments, these lenses preserve central sharpness and minimise edge vignetting when paired with standard 10X–20X microscope objectives. Compatible with 6558-series trinocular microscopes and functionally equivalent models using standard 30.5 mm or M30×0.5 threading.
